URGENT: My Dad was Detained!

As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,
Everything is in the hands of Allah and I ask Allah to ease the pain. We ask Allah ta'ala for 'Aafiyah.
My father, upon returning from Hajj, wished to see his family in Egypt. Last year, after 15 years away from his family, he visited Egypt and loved it so much he wanted to leave Canada and move back to Egypt for good. This year after Hajj, he returned again to Egypt only to find a different situation.
They detained him in the airport for hours, then days, and now 2 weeks have gone by. He was never allowed contact with his family, he was denied a lawyer, he was not charged for anything – and the mockery of justice continues till this moment. They could never do this to anyone else UNLESS they were Muslim.

My sister and I decided to wait, at the advice from CAIR Canada, until Amnesty International (a large civil rights group) united in the condemnation of the Egyptian and Canadian authorities (for not protecting my father who is a Canadian citizen). Amnesty has drafted the letter and all this is about to go national within a day or so.

A few years ago, before all of the craziness in the world happened, my father worked in Pakistan with Afghani orphans. Remember when the media speaks about a time when Afghanistan was forgotten. Well, my father and my mother were there feeding those kids. And it is because of that they have decided to harm my father half a decade later. My father is about to turn 64! I ask you for dua. This time it is personal.

200 strong taskforce tribe [Qabeelat Nasr] – nothing less In contemplating what has happened to my father, I believe that Allah ta’ala wants me to defend my father in a way that would assist other Muslims in the same plight who do not have the resources that I have. In the coming days, I will be performing the Khutbah outside the Egyptian embassy in Ottawa, doing media interviews, and launching a website. In sha Allah, we will do what no other organization has done before – for the sake of all our Muslim brothers and fathers who have done no crime other then profess that there is no god but Allah.

I am going to compile a group of 200 workers. These workers will be under my command, if we need to phone an embassy, ALL 200 MUST phone the embassy within 24 hours. If someone writes a bad article about my dad, ALL 200 MUST complain to the newspaper within 24 hours. All 200 will have to report back to their Ameer/Ameerah via email that they completed the task. This is no joke, any of the 200 who does not fulfill the task will be asked to go home.

(Don’t worry, I won’t ask anyone to do anything crazy. We will be doing, basically, what CAIR does, but in an organized and disciplined fashion under my leadership. And I will do Shoora with the members before making a command).

After asking for the Power of Allah in easing this affair, I am calling on the power of all the AlMaghrib students. This one’s personal.
Detain Injustice, Not Our Fathers

JOIN THE 200 STRONG [I call it Qabeelat (the tribe of) Nasr (victory)] You are welcome to join this taskforce tribe from other countries outside of the USA and Canada, but you MUST fulfill the time deadlines of contacting this embassy or that one. And you must have discipline equal to how somoene follows the Imam in prayer. When the Imam says Allahu Akbar and prostrates, you say Allahu Akbar and prostate immediately after that.

We will have sub-Ameers and Ameerahs to contact you and explain to you how our phone tree will work and prep you on what we will be doing.
