LOGITECH F310 MAC DRIVER
Anyone have a recommendation as to what I should get? I ordered a Cordless RumblePad 2 from a retailer that still had it in stock. Wed Jan 02, 4: I just confirmed on Lion this evening. Hmm, might have to go PS3 because it uses bluetooth and doesn’t require any driver installs like the controller.

Aug 19, Posts: I like the feel of the F, but it was too much of a pain to reconnect it using the “battery shuffle” simply to use the gamepad f3100 my Mac. These last tools are useful especially if you have a controller that only has driver support for Windows.

I will have to check out that Logitech controller. Can you check if you have installed Logitech Control Panel? The second is the Tattiebogle driver for Xbox controllers, which should work for both wired and wireless using the receiver noted above controllers.

I’m not surprised they’d stop making it, the low end one is the “cheap” one and the high end one is wireless. I’ve been reading that the Logitech software have only been logitecj and required for PC.

It says “customizable with profiler software”. It won’t matter if you leave the F in “D” mode. I really do not know.
I am assuming the F would be the same way since all of these Logitech controllers have the XInput and DirectInput modes built into one gamepad. The easiest of lovitech unsupported remotes to configure is likely the Xbox controller, which can be physically connected directly via USB or with a relatively cheap receiver for jac Xbox controllers.

The pre-existing standard was shit. According to those articles linked above the PS3 controller will work with bluetooth and doesn’t require any additional software to be installed.
When connected to the Mac, the button inputs will be registered, and universal drivers like USB Overdrive should be able llogitech recognize them and allow you to assign global or application-specific settings to them. IMHO it’s a good compromise. Macc, the default mode on the F is the XInput mode which doesn’t work on the Mac. Initially, I had to start up Fusion and switch the F under Windows in order for the change to be reflected on the Mac. You will need some third party software to get the most out of it.
