Am I understanding that correct? I am heading out in the next few days to try a ah, always reliable NIC if I can. The first submission of the ee driver simply added support for some hardware that didn’t previously exist — this was the best way to not disturb the e driver.

Posted February 23, It’s amazing you picked up on that NIC configuration error! The problem manifests itself on the specified hardware – no network connectivity after several minutes from server’s startup.

I tried to fix it with a tool similar to what The Sorcerer01 is using, thought I had it resolved tho, because I didn’t get the error message during boot anymore. Have you tried each port? Setting esb2/gikgal timer of device Read me first” instruction! I have tried to boot one of our servers with ee instead of e, no luck.

Your Intel dual NIC is supported by ee, and that driver loads correctly, ontel when it tries to initialize the chipsets, it reports errors, for both. I did try the power-saving fix, which can’t hurt. Comment 8 Andy Gospodarek
