I then fetched Dapper Drake 6. I have been running Debian for the last several years, and the card worked fine using the instructions from hpt347 site: The hpt driver loads fine upon start up, I managed to get that working at least: Customer Support Department http: The drivers I had been using previously under debian no longer work either.

Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linud In any case when the system has booted i run fdisk -l and it shows the IDE drives, at least of them and then it hangs. I dunno about that link on the wiki, that seems to be instructions for setting up software RAID. I had a similar problem to the OP.

Anyone know how to get that stupid driver to build? Can you name the rest so I can make the changes? Having a problem logging in? You are currently viewing LQ as a guest.
