Wireless on a tx – HP Support Community –

Seems some process is running at times which is causing the wifi hardware itself to be invisible but again, it does not run all the time?! I am so frustrated and love this computer but think that I will need to replace it soon.

All I have is the HP driver update they recommend which is 4. Sorry for caps, but it is at least exciting. Have not yet tried the fruitless interaction with HP support since it is the holidays but will next week. They want it fixed and fixed now.

But the problem us not solved. I have an extended warranty hpp it however I heard horror stories with tech support. I’ve now dealt with some hundred of this model so while some may hope for some driver to fix it I know not to hold out such hope.


I spend hours online talking to tech who went as far as to recommend a factory restore. My model is txus. The device just does not appear in the Device Manager at all. Sadly the ones I run into are not having any trouble at all since we have a solid answer, can show wifi working in just a few minutes and give them the option of handing over 20 bucks and tax or heading over to give the unit to the service counter for minimum shop charge and more.
