29.48 . And thou ( O Muhammad ) wast not a reader of any scripture before it , nor didst thou write it with thy right hand , for then might those have doubted , who follow falsehood .
Description : The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم has warned the Muslims not to follow in the foot steps of the people that came before. The Holy Quran is unlike previous scriptures that were changed and interpreted in accordance to the whims and desires of those who claimed custodianship. Allah سبحانه و تعالى Himself has promised to divinely protect the Quran from any changes until the end of time. The efforts of the pre-eminent ulama have protected the Quran from erroneous interpretation of unqualified scholarship.
